CINCINNATI:
Jean-Robert and Annette de Cavel announce the return of their annual fundraiser, eat.play.give. the Friends and Family Brunch at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State, Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The family friendly event features food and beverages from Greater Cincinnati’s best chefs, restaurants
and purveyors. Participants include: Jean-Robert’s Table; Queen City Cookies; Daveed’s Next; Mayberry; Taste of Belgium; The Coffee Emporium; Jean-Philippe, Chocolatier; Keegan’s Fresh Seafood; Oriental Wok; Cumin Eclectic Cuisine; Orchids at Palm Court; EatWell Catering and Takeaway; La Poste Eatery; Keystone; Riverside Korean; Velvet Smoke BBQ; Otto’s; Bouquet; Via Vite; Jeff Ruby’s; Senate; Sung Korean Bistro, Winecraft and Nicholson’s.
“Annette and I are so grateful to Midwest Culinary for their generosity and partnership in hosting this event, not to mention all of our friends who will be with us cooking on Sunday the 14
th
. Says Jean-Robert. “Because not only are we cooks, but many of us are dads and moms, too.”
In addition to the fabulous food there will be hands-on activities in the Midwest Culinary Institute’s state of the art pastry labs; a silent auction featuring books, art, gift certificates for salon/spa services, restaurants and much, much more.
Electronic tickets are $65 for adults, $20 for kids ages 5-12; 10 for $500.

About the de Cavel Family SIDS Foundation:
Began by Annette and Jean-Robert de Cavel as 7 Days for SIDS in June 2003, after the loss of their infant daughter, Tatiana. In August 2010, formally became the de Cavel Family SIDS Foundation. Our mission is to raise money for awareness and research towards the eradication of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), the number one cause of death of children from birth to one year. And to sustain the Tatiana de Cavel Scholarship Fund at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State.
