A Bartlett, TN woman is missing from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
The 21-year-old was seen falling off the Allure of the Seas Sunday night about 50 miles off the coast of Florida.
The ship just left Port Everglades and was heading to the Bahamas when she disappeared.
Royal Carribbean said a passenger saw the woman fall and security cameras caught it on tape.
The cruiseline says the ship's captain immediately turned around and used a gps device to return to the area where the woman disappeared.
According to the Coast Guard, “The ship made multiple public announcements and began a complete search of the ship, in efforts to locate the guest. A review of the ship’s closed-circuit camera footage observed a 21-year-old female guest from the United States going overboard. The location of the ship at the time the guest went overboard was marked on the ship’s Global Positioning System (GPS). Two other ships that were close by at the time, the Carnival Fascination and Majesty of the Seas, assisted Allure of the Seas with the search.”
The Coast Guard is searching an area of approximately 320 square miles.
