I have been on 9 cruises to date two Royal Oasis and the Allure actually had just returned from the Allure of the Seas when we saw this ship leave out and wished them well because we had a lot of fun. She had to jump or was pushed off. you don't just fall overboard! you can accidentally fall if you are standing on your stateroom chair or table and leaning over the balcony but who in their right mind would do that? There is no reason unless you plan on jumping.

WTH? How does this happen? What little detail this piece of story says, it doesn't SAY a drunken guest. Would she not have had to do some climbing first before she went over? I just do not know about cruises - I have never been on one and I doubt that I ever will...way too confining for me!

after being on a couple of cruises, I don't believe you can fall off a ship like this. It is not logistically possible. Regardless, the horror if true is completely unimaginable. God bless her.

I went on my first cruise 2 years ago, on Royal Caribbean & there is WAY TOO MUCH ALCOHOL BEING CONSUMED. There were hard partying young adults that were behaving like morons. Also, when one idiot vaumited in the pool because he'd drank way too much alcohol-the pool had to close. BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN BEHAVIOR. I hope this wasn't the case with this young lady

snafu- I was thinking the same... My parents just came back from a cruise and they said the ship alone is about 10 stories high... Poor girl... I pray for a happy ending... prayers for her and her family...

Sad to say, but she probably died from the fall.
