The e-mail I heard her read when this story first broke didn't sound mean spirited or nasty. It was just pointing out a fact which she is probably very aware of. In todays world this was not very politically correct. The current reference to "bullying" I don't believe applies here. I personally have no problem with her weight issue, if she'e comfortable with herself, so be it. But, overweight people are next on the governments list of things to "tax" because it costs too much in "healthcare". Smokers first, then the overweight. Anyone else think we have too much government?

I think she handled that well and with tact. Inturn she showed the imperfect people out there, including myself, that no matter how anyone critizises you stand up for yourself and feel good about who you REALLY are! Fox19 showed his response this morn and his picture and obviously his inside person isn't as nice as his outside person. I guess he was never taught the "Golden Rule".

Hey Lee- why not comment about the Church helping over 60 families who were evacuated? You just love religious stories. You only comment on the negative though, I forgot about that!

Why can't a news anchor just do their job? Why do they have to "set an example for young people"? And if they do, why can't it be by standing up to jerks who can't mind their own business? Maybe if she was an anorexic, she'd be more of an "positive example" to young people? Why does everybody have to be perfect? What ever happened to freedom?

So reading viewer E-mails on air and responding to them now qualifies as “news”? This distraction provided fill for their broadcast without costing them a dime for reporters, research staff, fuel for their vehicles, or long distance charges for calls. BRILLIANT! A “no cost” story that still (somehow) managed to generate controversy and viewer interest. Did they bother to do a follow-up interview with Kenneth Krause for his opinion of the segment? You know, in the interest of ‘fair and balanced’ reporting. I, personally, couldn’t care less if Jennifer Livingston creates her own gravity field, so long as I don’t get captured by it. But why burden the nation with this petty email or her ‘not so petty’ weight issue? Mr. Krause may be a shallow and inconsiderate jerk but at least he can’t FORCE his views upon society as Michelle Obama and Mayor Bloomberg can (and have). Why isn’t Ms. Livingston screaming out about those injustices that affect far more than just her? What stunt shall we expect next from our benevolent Watchdog media? Why not read and dissect viewer comments on air? We’ll be no more “informed” by that than we are now, but, by God, it might prove to be quite entertaining!

Blah Blah Blah, jacsm1217. Other people's weight is none of your concern, just as this woman's physical condition is none of Krause's concern. I suspect he's got mental issues. He should seek professional therapy.

Krause is a jack wad who thinks too much of himself and delusions of self-importance. I'd like to see what HE looks like, and if HE practices what he 'preaches'.
