Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people and left a third critically injured in Owen County.
Dispatchers got the call about the crash just before 5:30 p.m. Monday night.
Officers say a pickup truck driven by 51 year-old Gary Sigretto of Owenton crossed the center line while heading south on Highway 127.
The truck collided head-on with a car driven by 73 year-old Lillie Newby of Frankfort, Kentucky.
Medics took her and a passenger, 76 year-old Patricia Gibson of Frankfort to the hospital, where they both died.
Sigretto has serious injuries.
He's was taken to U.C. Medical Center for treatment.
