Two people are dead after a crash on I-74 in Indiana. Dearborn County deputies said a blown tire caused the deadly crash.

Frank Cox, who is 36, told deputies a tire blew on his truck while he was driving on eastbound I-74 near the 158 mile marker around 5:45 Thursday evening. His truck apparently jerked and he slammed into another driver.

A passenger in Cox's truck and the driver of the second car were killed. Cox is at Margaret Mary Hospital.

Another woman, 44-year-old Mackeba Davenport of Cincinnati, was flown to University Hospital.

The names of the people killed are not being released at this time.
