Officers in Northern Kentucky released new information on a crash that left four people with injuries-including a woman who was hit by a car while checking on damage from the collision.

The collision happened at Madison Pike and Old Ky. 17 around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Ft. Wright Police Chief Dan Kreinest says 28 year Ashley McFarland was making a left turn from Old Kentucky 17 onto northbound Madison Pike when she collided with a southbound driven by Eddie Rodriguez.

Rodriguez's passenger, Marlene Sierra, got out of the vehicle to check on Rodriguez when she was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by Kathryn Danner.

Sierra was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by Air Care. Rodriguez went to UCMC by ambulance. McFarland and Danner were taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth in Edgewood.

Chief Kreinest does not believe any of the injuries are life threatening. He believes McFarland's view was obstructed when she turned into Rodriguez's path.

Sorry for the miss spellings hit comment accidently. Can't hardly blame the person that got hit, doesn't say how many cars were involved. If this person had time enough to put car in park and get how the person that hit them should have had time to top or avoid the accident. People don't know how to drive any more, just today I got passed on a country road, I was going the speed limit, on a double yellow line. Then got into Mason on the main street in a school zone and people had to pass on the right, in the designated parking spots because they couldn't wait for someone to turn right. Can't imagine how people actually passed their drivers test doing dumb crap like this.
