CBS - Google is letting the public test its $1,500 futuristic eyeglasses.
Google Glass is supposed to perform many of the same tasks as smartphones, except the spectacles respond to voice commands instead of fingers touch a display screen.
The product will be offered to those selected as part of a contest.
Participants must submit an application of up to 50 words explaining what they would do with the technology.
