Covington is kicking off the holiday season Tuesday night with fun for the whole family.

Mainstrasse Village's annual tree lighting ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m.

There will be carollers, free snacks and hot chocolate and even a petting zoo.

This is just the start of many holiday festivities in the village.

Next Thursday, Saint Nicholas arrives by horseback at 6 p.m.
