A South Carolina man is charged after leaving a trail of evidence to his whereabouts after he allegedly burglarized a store.
Kershaw County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the Cassatt Country Store after a delivery man noticed the front glass door of the store had been shattered.
Investigators said that a suspect broke a bag of Cheetos and the snacks were strewn across the store's floor.
After looking at surveillance video, investigators focused on a white car speeding away from the scene. Deputies located a similar white car at a home not far from the store.
As investigators approached the front door of the home, they observed more fresh Cheetos on the front porch.
After getting permission to search the home, deputies discovered 19-year-old Austin Lee Westfall Presler in a room matching items taken from the store.
Presler allegedly took beer, snacks and energy drinks.
