Student Struck By Car Near Holmes High School

A person was struck by a car near Holmes High School Wednesday morning.

Police said it happened just after 7 a.m. in the 2500 block of Madison in Covington. Police confirm the person was a student, but did not know if they attend Holmes.

The victim was taken to Children's Hospital for treatment.

I hope the victim is OK. Some of the kids will just walk out in front of you, just knowing you're not going to hit them, and then there are the drivers who speed through there.
