An accident has closed part of State Route 156 in Switzerland County just outside Vevay.
The Switzerland County Sheriff's Department said that a tractor-trailer was involved in an accident around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The driver was taken to the hospital after the rig overturned.
Local 12 viewers who live in the area said the accident is near the Andrews' Farm on the east side of town.
There is a large backup. It's unclear when the road will reopen.
