The 'term' “assault” rifle, or weapon, is a created 'term' designed to produce an emotional response. It was created by those who seek to convince Americans to voluntarily give up their 2nd amendment protected rights. There are ONLY semi-automatic and automatic weapons. Neither of which are technically banned. Believe it or not, if you jump through all the governments unconstitutional 'hoops', one can 'legally' own an automatic weapon. Of course, the government then knows you own it. Now they want to know who owns a semi-automatic weapon. That is the governments goal … to start. One of the reasons that is so insane ... is the REAL purpose of the 2nd amendment.

I agree with Nam Vet they are nothing but cowards and heroes only in their own sick minds. Let President Obamas' girls go to school without armed security, not a chance.
