An early morning fire forces a Clermont County family from their home and it appears to have been started by a space heater.
Crews were called to the home on Gate Tree Lane in Batavia Township about four o'clock. The fire happened right across the street from the township administration building. Initial reports are that a faulty space heater may have sparked the blaze.
The fire apparently quickly spread from the basement to the attic. The family escaped the flames safely.
