Interesting...what would happen if everytime some whack-ass "Muslim" killed/injured a bunch of innocent folks, made defamatory movies about 'the west' and Christianity, and whatever other hate-driven unreasonable act they can think up and the rest of the world decides that they would burn the flag of the jackwads country, set their bldgs (and others on fire), kill their ambassadors or others representing their country and others? Everyone would hold the whole country/race/religion responsible for the actions of this jackwad. I am reasonablty sure the Egyptian consulate in DC would be 'aghast'..as well as Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, Saudi Arabia and all the others!

Cap'n Crunch (Spaulding). There were subway terrorist attacks in London by these same groups--they had nothing to do with Democrats, Clinton OR Obama. The fact is that the WORLD is under seige from these Muslim extremists, not just America--but because you're so closed minded, you don't even consider that it's not just about us. Seems to be a common mentality among the right and Obama haters--you simply refuse to comprehend the bigger picture. You act as if the administration is responsible for activity that has been going on since before he was even in office--and you can thank George W. Bush, Sr. for some of it. And homegrown terrorism LIKE Oklahoma City is much worse, in my opinion. This great nation of ours produces some pretty screwed up people, all in the name of "personal freedom"!

The ignorant rhetoric here is astounding. First off, attributing terrorism to Islam is stupid. The KKK are a Christian group but they surely don't speak for the Christian faith. Second, the extremist groups responsible are taught from a young age through their religion that what they do is not only condoned by God, but warranted. This is the same as "Western" religions that are taught that good deeds are the way to God. Ignorance is not an excuse but an explaination. So what is the answer to this problem? I sure don't have one so I ask one you who apparently know so much to come up with one. Nuke all the countries who have Muslim people in it? Go around and force every person to convert to a "peaceful" religion? (BTW I think history has shown that Christians have done this to Muslims in the past) Should we pull out of every hostile part of the world and let them fend for themselves? Sure that would work if it was 1500 and terrorist could only reach us by sailing on wooden ships with my boy Chris Columbus. For a country that is founded on freedom from opression we sure like to condemn others for their way thinking. Our founding fathers would know nothing of the problems we face today because its not the 18th century folks. Terrorism is here to stay and present within our own country (Colorado shooting, Unibomber, etc.) We are privelaged enough to have freedom of speech and religion and we use that platform to openly mock another's religion and get pissed when they take offense and retaliate the only way they know how, with violence. How many of you have true Muslim friends are ever attended a religious service by Muslims and actually attempted to understand their faith? Again, I don't have an answer, as no one does or this would not be a problem. As long as their has been religion, there has been religious wars.

jlunch - I didn't say 9/11 was under Obama. Neither was Oklahoma city (Clinton) USS Cole (Clinton) First WTC bombiing (Clinton) Air Force barracks in Saudi Arabia (Clinton). And what does London have to do with us? You ashamed that we fought the revolutionary war and think we should apologize to the British? Wish we were subjects to a king and queen again? Odd that I see you critize other's intellect when you lack basic reading comrehension of a post you are commenting on.

People have a right to be furious and want retribution. Americans are sick to death of Islam and terrorists and the B.S. that continues to happen to us because of it. Of COURSE people are looking to and blaming the president for not doing anything. Then to hear him sympathize with these zealot freaks gets to be more than we can tolerate. When our own leader apologizes to those who killed innocent Americans, it's an atrocity, it's abysmal, it's disgusting. Of course we will remember the leaders who took action and defended America. That isn't partisan, it isn't ignorant, it's human nature. Those who portray themselves as being above it all are full of themselves. Don't disparage others for venting their feelings on this or other boards when you do the very same thing yourself.

When Obama went on his famous "apology tour" after his election, is there any doubt that everybody in the free and not free world took that as weakness? Even if you think certain things, you never tip your hand. It's a pitfall of liberalism and not living in reality.

Partisanship is underrated. People aren't partisan enough. With a little guilt shmeered on, folks cede their own self-ownership to the pious left. Sorry, not everybody who can see what disastrous potential radical Islam (and their silent peers) has to us all is xenophobic or racist. Nobody here hates Jews. It seems that the argument always boils down to that supposed moral and intellectual superiority. Pretty cheap.

Mag, ask the British how partisan our Founding Fathers were when dealing with a foreign power. If these posters had been there, they would have been playing politics while England was invading. As for the daily Muslim/"Obama is a Muslim supporter" rants I see on here, these same xenophobic posters would have a cow if a Jew moved in next door to them. I'm not "davmoses" for nuttin.....
