Something about LaRosa's pizza sticks with you. Maybe because they have been around so long, and the taste is so familiar (anyone raised in Cinti could close their eyes and immediately know the taste). I never understood why their pizza always tasted better at King's Island than anywhere else. Anyway, I wish their sauce were a little more tangy and less sweet, and the crust more crispy, but who can argue with their ongoing success. And you have to admit they have held their prices relatively flat in an era of constant inflation....

I agree with Cincinnatus on their Pan pizza, but I like the thin crust pizza. Calzones are good also.

I am not too keen on the pizza. I think their lasagna, salads, and hoagies are good.

Cincinnatus, there are plenty of us born here that don't enjoy it. I think it's great they built this company and they have great work ethics it seems, but I've always thought they use to much sauce and their crust is far to thick for my taste, while their thin crust is somehow still soft. I know plenty of people who love that taste though, my mom included. It's all opinion I suppose.

I agree with you Cincinnatus....I don't like their pizza either. Our work used to get pizza from there once a month for doing a good job. We all voted to get it from some where else. We went to Jets! Their dough is a lot crispier.

I admire the LaRosa family for building a business, but I think the pizza sucks. It's too much dough and not enough topping, and often the dough is underbaked and gooey. They also wipe the counters with bleach solution, but plop down pizzas to cut them before it dries so you can taste the bleach on the pizza. Well, I have not eaten any since maybe 2006, so maybe they have changed, but I doubt it. Cinci natives do like it because they don't know any better, so why would they change?
