Last time I was down there you could walk on and ride across for $1, and if your purpose was just taking the kids across and back they would waive the return fee.

Love taking the bike across the ferry and ride to rabbit hash . If you haven't rode the Augusta ferry give it a try .

I ride it as often as possible. Pretty cool. They could use some customer service skills however.
