Skyline is back in the hands of Cincinnati owners today. The company's President and CEO, Kevin McDonnell, announced today the corporate officers and Board of Directors have purchased the majority of the Skyline stock previously owned by Chicago-based Prudential Capital Group.
Skyline was purchased ten years ago by a Rhode Island firm, and then sold in 2005.
The first Skyline Chili restaurant was opened in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1949 by Nicholas Lambrinides and his sons. The company now has 134 restaurants in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida.
