For the record, as a Conservative I break from my party's stance in that I support the "morning after" pill and abortions when the embryo in question looks more like a TADPOLE. When it appears to be human, too late, you snooze, you lose, have the child and offer it for adoption, God KNOWS you'll be provided the healthcare to carry the child to term. Just in case anyone thinks I believe that EVEN IF a woman is raped she should keep the child... Um, NO, destroy it, for according to the BIBLE (the Bible that some quote) it's considered the "Devil's seed"... I merely asked a simple question, how can the left be outraged about a tragedy like this when the President YOU support not only wants "Late Term Abortions" to be LEGAL, but he SUPPORTS MURDERING BABIES WHO'VE SURVIVED THE LATE TERM ABORTION! I am always fascinated at the thought processes and justifications used by folks who wholeheartedly oppose abortion of any kind, even rape, incest or threat to the mothers' life and their equally wholehearted support of the death penalty....and yeah, in the end, it is the same thing...'man' taking a 'life' - if as acclaimed Christians who believe in God, he will be the one who judges and determines 'innocence' - it is 'man' who can't wait for His determination.

They call it a homicide (feticide) if the mom wants it, and they call it "tissue" or worse if she does not. Concerned1 is right. Obama is in full favor of killing babies. What disgusting people we have ruling our country, and the fallen citizens among us take their cue from our so called leaders.

To concerned one, I'm wondering why you felt it necessary to bring politics into this discussion? Unless you think this couple were having a heated discussion over who to vote for, I'm pretty sure this horrifying tragedy has nothing to do with politics. Right now the only thing that matters is this woman's recovery and mental health, and the punishment that this man should receive.

Obviously this is terrifying, evil and so, so sad but I'm curious as to whether the progressive left is "really outraged" about this, after all, they support the murder of unborn children daily so what's the difference? I'm not speaking of all abortions, but late-term abortions. Is it only "ok" if the Mother decides to murder her baby? Michelle Obama, by the way, penned a letter in 2004 in SUPPORT of REVERSING the "Partial-Birth Abortion" ban. She wants it REVERSED and so does Barry! Even the Supreme Court saw this act for what it was, barbaric! In case you don't know what this despicable act entails, forgive me, but this is important because BOTH Michelle AND Barry want this LEGALIZED, it involves inducing labor then crushing the back of the baby's head with scissors. Michelle Obama, in a fundraising letter on behalf of her HUSBAND'S 2004 Illinois Senate campaign, said such bans on infanticide were "CLEARLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND MUST BE OVERTURNED." So how can the leftists be outraged about this terrible tragedy when they CHAMPION the act and wish it LEGAL? I'm confused. It's alright when the Mother wishes to murder the baby but it's NOT alright for the Father to? Yes, it's wrong in ALL cases and I know this subject is disturbing but it's important to point out the left's opportunistic hypocrisy. After all, remember Terry Shiavo? The Mainstream media and left actually MOCKED the Right for choosing... LIFE! That's RIGHT, they MOCKED those of US who wanted someone to LIVE in the wishes of their family who agreed to take care of her and INSTEAD chose to believe an opportunistic, CHEATING husband who CLAIMED his wife's wishes were to be starved to death even though NO EVIDENCE EXISTED to support his claim. Was there ANY outrage at those on the left for wanting someone they've NEVER met to die? NO! The ONLY outrage was directed at US for wanting to choose LIFE.
