Sheep, Goats, and Peacocks Killed in Walton Barn Fire

WALTON, Ky. - Fire crews in Walton are working to determine the cause of a barn fire that killed 35 to 40 sheep, goats, and peacocks early Monday morning.

It happened around Jones Road, which is just off of High Street, around 6:30 a.m. This is in the Kenton County portion of Walton.

First responders said they were able to get a number of the animals out of the barn, however, some animals succumbed to the flames. A number of tractors were also damaged in the fire.
