Ryan Widmer Will Not Get Fourth Trial

Ryan Widmer has lost his appeal for a fourth trial.

The 12th District Court of Appeals announced the decision Monday morning.

Widmer is currently serving prison time after being convicted of murdering his wife, Sarah.

Jurors in his third trial came to the conclusion he drowned her in the bathtub of their Hamilton Township home in 2008.

The first trial ended in a mistrial; the second resulted in a hung jury.

hux - No, someone bumped into me and accidently got scratched...geesh. No, juries are not always right, but I DO believe that the jury who actually sat through all the evidence has a better idea of guilt or not than those of us here on this forum. Glad to see that you are so capable of jumping to conclusions with so little information though. As for the nose picking comment...I can only assume why nose picking is up front in your mind.

@ reesy, So you scratched a person while at Octoberfest? Or maybe pick their nose for them? Also, Juries are always correct, right? Is that what you believe? So, OJ didn't kill Nicole and her friend? Sorry, this case was messed up way back when they hired Braley, all the way up to the time that they charged Widmer then had to build a case from there. They should've done a better investigation, definitively determined COD, then filed charges if necessary.

I hope you people never have to face a corrupt system like he did. May God punish all those who committed fraud upon his rights under color of law while benefiting financially from municipal bonds in his case. Wake up people cause your time will come and Lord help you if you all are not competent to represent yourself. No matter what it looks like, he was sold when his case first started. All the other scenery was acting under color of law.

he has been found guilty how many times now ? he needs to rot in jail for killing her... Really the worst part of this is...who is going to pay the blood sucking lawyers the hundereds of thousands they have charged his poor parents ?

Beautifulgirl - I have to ask...WHY do you think he is innocent?? What do you know that the jury doesn't?? Do you think it is possible that the jury heard more of the evidence than you did???
