A Mount Airy gas station clerk was scared-but not injured-after a robbery early Friday morning. The suspect threatened to kill the clerk if he didn't hand over all the cash in the register.
The robbery happened at the Thornton's on Colerain Avenue and North Bend on Friday morning.
Cincinnati Police said a man with a hoodie tied tightly around his face told the clerk to "give me all the money or I will kill you." He pointed a gun at the clerk. The suspect took $300 in cash and ran off.
Investigators used a police dog to track the suspect to Kirby Avenue. That's where police believe he got into a getaway car.
