Miami Township Police now hope an increased reward of $2500 will bring in tips in their search for a killer.

Paul Leiter's wife found him shot to death in his home on Pine Bluff Drive on the morning of February 11th. Police believe he was actually killed the night before, when someone fired shots through the window. But they don't know if he was the intended target.

Police want to know who was driving a white van parked in the neighborhood during the time they believe Leiter was shot to death. Investigators believe the van was either a Chevy Astro or a Plymouth. (The photos attached are *not* the actual van-only models that witnesses say are similar to the one they saw.)

Two weeks ago officers released a composite sketch of a man spotted in the neighborhood... but the sketch has not led them to a suspect and police don't know if he's connected to the van at all.

They are still asking anyone who can identify him to call them. If you have any information you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 352-3040.

Keep an open mind with this investigation. The pharmacist would be the likley suspect and the easiest to blame. But there are many other unanswered questions. Hit man????

A Chevy Astro van does not look anything like a Plymouth Voyager.

Curious about what happened with the investigation into the Batavia pharmacist that died? He was suspected in connection with Mr. Leiter's death. Has that been ruled out?
