Country music star Randy Travis is jailed without bond in Texas after cops say he was found drunk and naked at the scene of a crash.
According to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, officers arrested the 53 year old Travis last night. They charged him with driving while intoxicated and felony retaliation.
In a press release, the sheriff's office says it got a 9-1-1 call about a man lying in the road. And that led officers to Travis, who they say was involved in a one-vehicle accident.
Officers say Travis smelled like alcohol and showed several signs of intoxication. Witnesses told TMZ.com that Travis was naked. He initially refused to take blood and breathalyzer tests, but authorities got a warrant.
The retaliation charge is for Travis threatening to shoot and kill the troopers working the case.
This is the country singer's second legal altercation this year. In February, he was charged with public intoxication after being spotted in a vehicle parked in front of a church in Sanger, about 20 miles from Tioga.
