Guns are already illegal in schools, so what good are more laws that restrict gun rights going to accomplish? I'll tell you. It will make it difficult for the law abiding to own certain guns, but do nothing to stop criminals from owning guns. The law abiding will become more defenseless while the criminals are empowered. People were laughed at and called paranoid for stocking up on guns and ammo when Obama was elected, but here we are 4 years later seeing that they were correct about Obama attacking gun rights.

Papps...you need a reality check! The government cannot always be there to protect you and last time I checked murder was still illegal and has been for some time but yet it happens. A gun does not kill, people kill because some people are just plain evil. God protects...not government. Seems interesting that when God was in school and in our lives this type of thing just didn't happen. We have kicked him out of just about everywhere and we blame even on everything except where that blame belongs...on us. With God there is peace, ...no God...no peace..HE is the only one that can protect us from true evil and we all need to wake up!!

Listen up Libtards, if your boy Barry cared about the children of this once great Nation, he WOULDNT be saddling them with a debt load their children will still be paying off. Do you understand this????

So, papps; in the spirit of coming up with educated ideas … perhaps we could begin with you explaining the meaning of the following founders statement : “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

So just because it was legal that makes it okay? Wow... Heroin was legal too but is it alright? Lets get back to the issue at hand and stop deflecting the problem to something else. Point is there has to be a give give on both sides that works

That's ridiculous, it was legal to own slaves in those days, should have NO barring on the second amendment.
