So sad that they bring shame to all the hard fighting men and women of our Miltary. Well they go to jail here then while they in our jail they list them as AWOL then the army will charge them with that once they get out of jail. They are looking at 20 years at hard labor once the state of Ohio gets done with them. Hope it was worth it to them. I just hope they put them under the jail and never let them see the light of day again.

First off I hope Mr. Johnson makes a full recovery. This story disturbs me more than most I have read. For those that know me, you know why. I will in no way attempt to make any excuse for these (so called) soldiers. Their actions are despicable! Some people see that “soldiers” are involved and think ALL soldiers act this way. That is no truer than saying that all Caucasians are racists because a few have made racist comments or all African Americans are murders because you saw one on the “Wheel of Justice”. Those assumptions would be ludicrous. Are there “bad seeds” in the military? Of course there are, just like there are anywhere in society. We place labels on soldiers as Heroes, just because they are in the military. I’ve said it before; just being affiliated with an organization does not make you a hero. I NEVER wanted to be called a hero. A hero is defined by a heroic act/deed, above and beyond the norm. Most soldiers are ordinary, everyday people. Unfortunately sometimes, there will be some who “slip through the cracks”.

Individuals who do not take the oath of service to heart; who don’t care about honor, commitment or duty. Those individuals don’t deserve to wear the uniform. Sadly though, sometimes it takes something like this before they are identified and dealt with. Unless the military has DRASTICALLY changed since I retired 10 years ago, these 3 WILL be dealt with by the military. After they serve their sentence in civilian justice, they will face a military court martial, which will more than likely result in some time spent at Ft. Leavenworth Federal Military Penitentiary. I am sickened to see 3 people who (currently) serve in our armed forces involved in this type of action. They won’t be serving soon! If I was still serving and they were MY soldiers, they would be praying to go to Ft. Leavenworth. Side note for those that may not know, there is NO way that Michael Hesson is a soldier. You can’t have face tattoos or sideburns that long while on active duty. I don’t know if maybe he “was” a soldier at some time.
