MOUNT AIRY - A man is in custody after Cincinnati Police found him hiding in the trunk of a car in Mount Airy on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the 5100 block of Hawaiian Terrace near Colerain Avenue after shots were fired at a car around 4:00 a.m.
Police said the man who fired the gun called his girlfriend because he knew officers were looking for him. Investigators said he jumped in the trunk of her car, but an eyewitness told officers where he was hiding.
Officers have not revealed his identity or if he has been charged with anything at this point.
