Police Say Man Threatened to Blow Up His Mount Airy Home

Cincinnati Police arrested a man they said caused a SWAT situation early Friday morning.

It happened at a home on Kipling Avenue near Mercy Franciscan Hospital in Mount Airy.

Officers arrested 49 year old William Davis just before 5:00 a.m. They said he threatened to blow up his house during a fight with his girlfriend. The girlfriend was able to get out of the house before the SWAT team arrived.

Davis is charged with aggravated menacing.

They should evacuate and blow up all the apartment building in that area.
