With election day just three weeks from tomorrow, Ohio remains the key battleground state for Campaign 2012. Continuing the parade of candidates through our area, Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan was at Lunken Airport earlier this afternoon for a rally.

Local 12 News Reporter Jeff Hirsh was there and says the message was short. Ryan's speech lasted only ten minutes. Actually, it was more of a pep rally... urging Republicans to get out and vote.

Congressman Ryan flew here from his home state of Wisconsin.

The Ryan-Romney ticket has pulled even with President Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden in many of the swing state polls ...even ahead in some. But in Ohio, the President has maintained a small but generally consistent lead.

With that in mind, Ryan urged the crowd of about 500 faithful Republicans to vote early so they can use the rest of the time trying to convince undecided voters or even wavering Obama supporters to vote GOP. Ryan said the President has failed to deliver. "This is nothing but a failed agenda of broken promises, of hollow rhetoric. They see that this is a man who cannot run on his record and so has resorted to a campaign not of hope and change but of attack and blame, distort distract, divide to try and win an election by default. You can't let him get away with it."

The Obama campaign issued a statement in response to Congressman Ryan's comments ... saying in part "Congressman Ryan's claim that Mitt Romney is offering actual solutions is totally disconnected from reality. They can't hide their plan to bring back the same failed policies that punished middle class families and crashed our economy in the first place."

Get ready for more disagreements on the future of the country. The second Presidential debate is tomorrow night.

I can't believe this? Now Obama, is saying that he is going to privatize social security. That is the Republicans campaign!! Obama is a COPY CAT, everything the Republicans do, the next thing you know Obama does it too.. He can't think for himself!! Have you notice some of the commercials, when the Republican commercial is taken off or replaced. There will be one just like it with the tables turned!! Obama think the American people are stupid, and apparently at least 46% still are! Did you notice four years ago, everything he said the Republicans were going to do, if elected, HE DID?? Here we go again!! Come on 46% wake up!!

blackfine: You are kidding, right? Jobs get shipped overseas during Obama's administration, and you are trying to blame a guy who is not even President yet.
