KENTON COUNTY - Kenton County Police said at least one man was killed in a serious single-car crash early Thursday morning.
It happened on Bracht-Piner Road around 2:20 a.m.
Police officers told Local 12 a preliminary investigation revealed the driver, 21 year old Scott Sears of Demossville, may have gone off the right side of the road, over-corrected, then went to the left side of the road, crashing into a tree.
Sears' passenger, 27 year old Timothy Webster Jr. of Demossville, died at the scene. Sears was taken to University Hospital, but the severity of his injuries have not been released. Both men were wearing seatbelts.
