Matt Buyten, one of 30 riders with Nuclear Cowboyz, stopped by the Local 12 studios on Friday to talk about the show on January 20 and January 21.

The Nuclear Cowboyz was launched in 2010 to create a new freestyle motocross experience. The U.S. Bank Arena will be transformed to accommodate the adrenalin-packed theatrical production.

The production team is laying out 20,013 feet of turf are used to cover the venue floor. Once the turf is in place, the team will add ramps and obstacles.

Buyten told us he started riding dirt bikes at age 11. At 32, he has completed and earned medals in multiple X Games events, winning four gold and two silver medals in the Step Up competition.

The show this weekend will be on Saturday, January 19 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, January 20 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for children and $30 for adults.
