The Ohio Highway State Patrol released the names of the four people killed in a crash on Harveysburg Road in Warren County early Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers say the accident happened around 4:50 a.m. in Massie Township. Investigators say it appears a pickup truck rolled end over end for about 100 yards before crashing into a tree in a front yard. The homeowner called 9-11.
The victims are identified as 26 year old Brittan Gerondale of Morrow, 26 year old Benjamin Edwards of Lebanon, 22 year old Rose Feltner of New Vienna and 21 year old Johnathan Kroninger of Newark.
Family members tell us Johnathan and Brittany are cousins and Rose and Johnathan had recently been dating. Benjamin's estranged wife tells Local 12 that he leaves behind two young daughters and was a doting and good father.
Johnathan's mother tells Local 12 that the four were at her home about a mile from the crash scene, drinking and playing cards.
Troopers tells us speed is a factor in the crash. All four victims were thrown from the truck during the crash.
A investigator from Columbus was helicoptered in to the scene.
