Hamilton County Public Health Department has scheduled two additional vaccination clinics for specific groups that are at high risk of serious complications from H1N1 flu.
The first will be next
Tuesday, November 17 from 4-6 p.m and is only for pregnant women and adults or parents who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age. It will take place at the Job and Family Services building at 184 East McMillan Street in Corryville.
A second clinic will be held on
Thursday, November 19 and will be only for children 6 months through 4 years of age. It also runs from 4 - 6 p.m. at the HC ESC building at 924 Waycross Road in Forest Park.
Individuals must have an appointment to attend. To receive an appointment, send an e-mail to H1N1appointment@hamilton-co.org. Include the date of the clinic in the subject line and the high risk category in the e-mail.
There will be additional vaccination clinics scheduled each week as vaccine supply permits. Individuals part of a high risk group that is not being served by one of the current clinics should check www.hamiltoncountyhealth.org for clinic announcements.
The Cincinnati Health Department is also holding a vaccine session in partnership with the Community Action Agency. The session is for children ages 6 months to 5 years of age and expectant mothers. There is no charge for the vaccine and no pre-registration is required. It will happen next
