Cincinnati Police say a man found shot to death Monday in Bond Hill was likely mugged... but they are looking for witnesses.

The Hamilton County Coroner's office responded to 4815 Reading Road near Yarmouth Avenue just before 11 p.m. That's where the body of Jarmar Freeman was found behind an apartment building.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots about 20 minutes before the body was discovered. Investigators said it looked like Freeman was mugged and shot.

Police have no description of any suspects.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.

I knew Jarmar and bottom line loss of life is just that a loss, wether it is one of your heros or not God still calls them home the same. And your fallen heros do the same thing only difference is they are paid to do so by the goverment. My people deserve attention, and maybe the attention that wasnt recieved in life that could have changed a life can be acknowledged for just one moment in time after lifes term has expired. Take care Jarmar on your journey to the Heavens. You will be missed.

So, you are trying to make the point that these men are getting too much attention by giving them your attention. Hmmm....

Promise,4unique, I realize my mistake. I should have been more specific. I don't know if this particular man is involved, and a thug. I meant thugs in general. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, my bad. 4unique, thugs don't value life.

Bcatz.. your point is valid. However, it is a little disrespectful to pass judgement ... when you know not. Someone is grieving the loss of their family member. I find your comment offensive he was not a thug. Just merely a man that worked .. took care of his family ... and it is news worthy to me ...

@bcatz It makes the news to warn others of the incident and to get others talking and possibly catch the murderers. His life isn't just as valuable? Did you know him? Are you sure he was a thug, or maybe he was an innocent victim of thugs, mugged and life ended for no reason. Don't be so quick to assume and judge, I pray for his soul as I would for anyone else that it could have happened to. If anything, find it offensive that Lindsay Lohan gets as much news worthiness as she does : )

I find it offensive that these thugs get the same news worthyness as our fallen hero's who gave their all for us.

Jarmar, just another statistic cause nobody heard nothing or saw nothing. Thinning the heard.
