A Carroll County man was killed Monday morning after he was struck by a truck in Carrollton.
Police said 71-year-old Larry Moscoe of Carrollton was attempting to cross Highland Ave. when he was hit by a truck.
The truck was driven by Lance Maiden, a 23 year-old-man from Carrollton.
Moscoe was transported by Carroll County EMS to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Carroll County Coroner.
Trooper Dusty Corbin, an accident reconstructionist, is leading the ongoing investigation.
Trooper Corbin was assisted at the scene by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, Carrollton Police Department, Carroll County EMS, and the Carrollton Fire Department.
