Police say the offer of a reward has helped them find an alleged member of the Tot Lot gang. They arrested 28-year-old Gamba Oba around 1:30 this morning.
Oba was found at a home on Casey Drive in College Hill. He is now behind bars at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
You may remember Cincinnati Police rounded-up many suspected Tot Lot members in the West End last month. 27 people, including Oba, were indicted after an investigation that lasted a year and a half. Together they face dozens of drug and gun charges. Oba himself faces more than 60 charges.
Oba is the son of Kabaka Oba. Oba, whose real name was Michael Bailey, is a self-proclaimed black activist who was gunned down in front of Cincinnati City Hall in April of 2006.
