This one is no different than Korea, Vietnam, and all the other conflicts. I agree with most all the comments below. God bless the Chief Warrant Officer and his family. Prayers to all our Troups and their families as well!

God bless this Chief Warrant Officer and his family. Cincinnatus is correct. Can you imagine the outcry if McCain had won the last 2 elections? 5 years later the liberal propaganda mongers still blame Bush for everything.

Is it strange or standard operating procedure? During Bush's time in office, Democrats railed against the wars as immoral, demanded an end to them, and even called Bush a baby killer. However once they had their man Obama in office all opposition to the wars seems to have evaporated.

The people care, but not the Gov't, clearly. We should pull our troops out and bring them home. Deepest condolence to Chief Warrant Officer Groves' family.

blue collar I have to agree. We're right back where we started with them. Iraq and Afghanistan still hate and resent us. And are still against us. People don't like to think their loved ones died in vain. But the U.S. government itself lost it's honor. So I'll say they died unnecessarily. They died for their country, but their country doesn't care!

It's a damn shame to be wasting our soldiers lives on the likes of these people who hate us. Another fine man lost. Prayers for him and his family.
