Kentucky Man Mistaken For Controversial Film Maker

GLASGOW, Ky. (AP) - Sam Basile has no professional filmmaking credits, doesn't live in California and finds a film insulting the prophet Mohammed "nuts." Yet, Basile, a New Jersey native who lives in Glasgow, Ky., has been getting calls since the movie "Innocence of Muslims" ignited mob violence against U.S. embassies across the Mideast starting last week.

Basile told the Glasgow Daily Times that the idea he would be associated with such a movie made him sick.

Basile said he started receiving calls from media outlets last week asking if he was that Sam Bacile, a pseudonym for Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the California man who made the film.

Basile hasn't received any threats but he thought there was a possibility he would be attacked by someone mistaking him for the filmmaker.

What it is - it is BS, a poorly made movie done in someones backyard and basement. It is not the cause of these attacks, they were planned for September 11'th, what it is, it is an EXCUSE provided by our State Department to cover the muslim presidents butt or many Americans would be calling for flight of loaded B2's to make a night time visit. Just the way that Ronald Reagan had done.

Jackwads who want to deprive people with whom they disagree ,their 1st Amendment rights, use the Orwellian term "hate speech". Obviously the teachers are not telling students anything about our Constitution. This is another case where they start victimizing people because of mistaken identity. Just like harrassing the wrong Zimmerman.

Well I haven't seen the film but it sounds like any muslims that respond to a film with violence are proving that the movie is true. If you tell the truth about people, it is not "hate speech".

The uprising isn't about a movie, it was planned in advance and everyone knows it. The media surrounding Obama reminds me very much of TASS or Radio Havana. Team Obama looks like amature hour right now.
