Independence Police Investigate Stabbing

Independence Police are investigating a stabbing.

Officers were called to the Eagle Creek Apartments in the 4200 block of Aspen Drive around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.

One person was taken to Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Investigators are sorting through information and hope to have an update soon.
