It's probably unlike any convention you've ever seen before. Horror Hound Weekend begins tonight at the Sharonville Convention Center. Local 12's Rich Jaffe is there with a look at the very unusual offerings.

This is indeed one of the strangest events you'll ever see but who doesn't like a good scare or meeting a big movie star...this is the place where you can do both. Early this morning as the vendors began setting up, horror fans began lining up. "The idea to actually get to meet some of these people who are involved in making these movies I love so much and take away the memory of getting to meet them and shake their hand and have a picture with them it's just an amazing experience."

And the stars are here...movie stars...tv stars...even some of the genre greats like John Carpenter. Paxton Casslar showed up with his mom. "WHY IS THIS A BIG DEAL FOR YOU PAXTON? I don't know I just like horror movies. WHAT IS IT YOU LIKE ABOUT THEM? I just like the killing."

"I would love to be able to get into the business make the costumes and the masks and the face art...it's just exciting."

This is the first time Horror Hound has been in a venue as big as the convention center. The whole idea started out in 2005 as a magazine...and for the founders hanging out with the stars is still a big thrill. "It's neat when the celebrities come and hang out after hours and you get them away from the table or the work, and they're just chilling like everybody else...NORMAL PEOPLE,TAKE OFF THE GORE AND THE MAKEUP AND THEY'RE Ok...and he's got two legs in real life."

Here you can find posters, masks...even the demonic plymouth named Christine. Horror show Jack and his crew came in from New Jersey. They make fangs...and not so cuddly terror bears. "Horror fans are the most loyal faithful and friendly group of people you will ever meet.. I get letters from people who have got my fangs and said thank you my teeth are amazing...how many jobs at the end of the day your boss or people you work with just say thank you you did a great job."

The cast from the hit show the Walking Dead is here as are stars from a bunch of other series and movies. One of them is a well known star named Tim De Zarn...he's from Cincinnati and if you tune in at 11, you'll see my interview with him.

The show runs tonight until 10 o'clock, tomorrow and Sunday the doors open at 11 a.m. It's expected to draw about 10,000 people to Sharonville by the time it wraps up Sunday.
