Covington Police say the victim of a stabbing his morning is homeless-and a second homeless man is now behind bars, charged in the attack.
Officers were called to the Covington Landing along the Ohio River around 3:45 a.m. Thursday.
Police found 49 year old David Abrams with a stab wound to the torso. He was taken to University Hospital, and is expected to survive his injuries.
Officers arrested 33 year old Nicholas Howard, who is also homeless, and charged him with assault and tampering with evidence.
Police say the stabbing was the result of a fight.
