MADISON TOWNSHIP - Firefighters say a fire that destroyed a home on Radabaugh Road in Butler County started in the kitchen.
The fire started just after 4:00 a.m. on Monday at a home. Madison Township is located between Middletown and Trenton.
Crews told Local 12 the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
A couple and their granddaughter escaped unharmed. Fire crews had a difficult time fighting the fire because the nearest hydrant was a mile down the road.
The family is now staying with relatives.
