CINCINNATI - If you don't believe your neighbors may be secret millionaires. Look around! A property in Amberley Village recently went up for sale for $1.78 million dollars.

That amount may sound like a lot, but the home's architectural history is priceless. The home on Knoll road was designed by iconic architect Frank Lloyd Wright and was later built by his grandson Eric Lloyd Wright.

There's a separate cottage on the property and the home will be sold with much of the original furniture in place. It's the first time the home has ever hit the market.

Are we sure that he wasn't an early "Prepper" ??? I too see this houses exterior to look more like a robot castle, than a home.. The interior has "some" nice attractions, but I kept looking for Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra to pop into the picture, and light up a smoke..Ha !!

Frank Lloyd Wright's concrete phase didn't go all that well. If I recall correctly the homes were fraught with water leak problems, expensive to build, and uninsulated. This one in particular would be almost impossible to retrofit with insulation. It also looks more like an office building than a home.

The building in that photo is ugly, if it is supposed to be someone's home.

WOW, just shows what's old is new again. Lots of midcentury furniture that is very hot again right now. Very cool!
