Four people are recovering in the hospital after a rollover crash in Ft. Thomas early Tuesday morning.

Investigators said the crash happened shortly before 2 a.m. on the Mary Ingles Highway near Tower Hills Drive.

Officers said the 21-year-old driver lost control and rolled the vehicle. He was ejected.

Three other people between the ages of 16 and 21 were also in the car during the crash.

All were taken to U.C. Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said speed may have been a reason for the crash.

I'm the sixteen year old girl in this crash. we were all as sober as we could be. They took our blood and seen there was no alcohol in our systems. The driver is my Uncle someone very close to me. No offense, but you shouldn't judge so quickly. It was a very traumatic moment for all of us. It's made me scared to even drive in cars on the highway. My name is Olivia Messer, and i'm one lucky 16 year old.

I'll bet alcohol was involved. And can someone tell me what a 16 year old is doing out at 2am on a school night? Just wondering.
