catmom - I completely understand why you're voting for obama. You and he have a lot in common. For example, you both have a problem keeping your word. You see, obama said (among other things) if he did not have the economy turned around in three years, he was going to be a one-term president. According to a previous comment, you weren't going to comment further on this election. Thank you for being a typical liberal democrat.

A lot of blindness within these posts, but of course that is the goal of any true politician from either side of the political circus.....When the voting masses are busy fighting one another (us versus them) they will not feel the icy cold hand of the (fill in the blank here) political party picking their pocket.........Both political parties are liars and totally corrupt, but in all fairness the democrats have found an all new low level.......November 2012 will be just another year of holding your nose while in the voting booth.......

I'm not better off or my children, nor do I feel secure that my job will be there tomorrow (thanks bill c for NAFTA). My pay is not increased in comparison to inflation, and I'm totally fed up forced to pay more for this administration's welfare programs. The only change I liked about Obama care was to eliminate pre-existing conditions, but that isn't the case. It has set us all up for biometric screenings, what your lifestyle is, your age...whatever else they want to use. Guess what! Greedy insurance companies are gearing up to set pricing for your policy on this information. And, they will still set the cost they will pay for a procedure, and you'll still go through endless claim denial. Insurance companies will continue to make a profit...that's what they do. Those that fall below an income level to afford health insurance or be fined...where the heck is that money coming from? Tax payers like me that got off their a$$, paid for an education, and pray like heck that I won't get laid off tomorrow. Today...today, he finally makes an announcement that he's doing something about China?!? They freaking own us from the debt. How many countries have defaulted to us, and how much more will we pay to these muslim countries that over a "video" made from some guy that seems to me not to even be a legitimate American, revolt, and want to kill Americans? I say shut the crap down...get our troupes home to protect home, and stop paying these countries. We do not need to be the world's police, or push our "democracy" on any of them. They should live happily with their own beliefs...if they want to continue to have civil wars and kill themselves, we need to stay out of it. We got who we were after. That should have ended this nonsense in the middle east.

@catmomx3 I have no clue how many people were there, 1000 was just a guess. Though I would be skeptical that there were 4500 there. I've been there, when people were backed up all the way up the hills watching the Symphony In the Park. My point is that the attendance was pitiful compared to other events. @davmoses as others already pointed out, Bush compromised a lot therefore caved into Democrats demands and advanced quite a bit of their agenda. Much like Hindenburg caved into Hitler. Bush is out of office, Obama is having luaus, going on expensive overseas vacations, playing golf while he sending our boys to their deaths and while he's cutting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits. Obama (Democrats) policies are killing senior citizens, veterans, the disabled, and babies. Yet the Democrats and the mainstream media and the likes of you don't seem to give a darn. The likes of you seems happy to divert monies that were meant for our own hard-working citizens, and you're stealing the money to divert it to the likes of illegal aliens, drug addicts, alcoholics and to fund luxuries for government aristocrats like Obama.

This is why you need to vote..All the welfare (sorry) dems are showing up again hoping for larger handouts while we (rep) go to work everyday or look for work. Dont let there vote count. At least show up to cancel them.
