I am the victim of this early morning break-in and I and my wife would like to personally thank the Boone County Sheriff's Department and the City of Florence Police Department for their prompt action in finding these criminals and returning my stolen possessions. We would also like to thank the maintenance personnel of Burlington Oaks apartment complex for their vigilance and reporting this crime as it happened. Without your help and concern, I would have lost several thousand dollars worth of equipment I use to earn a living. These individuals are a credit to their community and should be recognized for their efforts. In less than 12 hours, this crime was reported, the criminals were caught and my possessions were returned undamaged. Amazing teamwork by our local policemen and we are very grateful to all those involved. We are truly fortunate to live in a community where safety and crime deterrence are such a high priority. Someone covered in mud coming out of the same woods the two suspects fled to, and they questioned/let him go... I hope at least they wrote down his personal info.
