A new restaurant opens its doors Monday in Anderson Township.

Buffalo Wild Wings introduces a new design at the restaurant on Beechmont Ave.

The design is modeled after a stadium with big lights and open seating. There are also dozens of televisions, including a 160 inch T.V. above the bar. The restaurant is the first of its kind in the country.

It took two years and millions of dollars to build.

Customers lined up over night for a chance to get free wings for a year. The first 100 people inside won the prize. The first person got in line at midnight on Saturday.

hikingdude, well then society will just have to change from our violent behavior. Starting with movies, tv, video games and cartoons! Look on the internet to find out how to build a bomb, ban the internet?

Cptn - I am sorry if I sounded sarcastic, I truly did not intend to be. Well, maybe about banning the alcohol, lol. But I do apologize. I was referring to deaths from drunk driving car accidents. I was addressing your individual comments, so I may have misunderstood your meaning regarding healthcare. But I honestly do like your suggestion for training school administrators. That's been my point all along....that we all need to work together to fix this problem. I can't say I agree with that AP report, though. There has been alot of mass shootings just in the last five years. Anyway, your right...I'm not sure how we ended up on this topic.

Truth, barricade school windows with wires or bars... and then a fire breaks out with the doors blocked.... or your idea of school security is turning them into prisons?

Come on, this is a terrible idea. Everyone knows buffalo's don't have wings. Why don't they call it Chicken Wild Wings! It will never fly.

We tried to ban alcohol years ago, and it was a miserable failure. Not sure what that has to do with cars though. And you actually thought I was advocating for the banning of doctors? You might want to fix your sarcasm radar. Aslo, you may want to do a quick search of an AP report that claims "mass shootings" are down since the 1990s. Despite the prolification of guns and the dreadful economy, crime is also down on the whole in this country. You want a solution? I got one. Start training School admins to handle firearms. Put them thru a police/military traiinig program to counter these type of assaults on a school. We handed out concealed gun permits, the anti gun crowd screamed of a wild west shootout on every corner. Didn't happen. They cried about all the planes that would fall from the sky if we let skymarshalls and pilots carry firearms on planes. Didn't happen. So it stands to reason with me that if a few admins were armed this type of thing may possibly be stopped. How did we get on this topic for a lame story on an overpriced chicken wing joint anyway?

Cptn - Rather than banning cars, maybe we should just ban alcohol? I'm sure that will make a huge dent in that problem. Besides, I don't see where anyone was 'on a ban gun bandwagon.' I personally don't own a gun but it IS a right granted to us by the Constitution. Guns aren't the problem - its people who are disturbed and dangerous getting ahold of guns. That's why its impossible for the Government to control. As far as healthcare, in 2000 I almost died from a botched surgery. But we still need physicians, etc. Everyone does. But the attitude you have is very popular in society these days. This attitude does not help to come up with solutions for protecting the innocent from maniacs, and THAT should be every american's duty. Like Obama said at the memorial Sunday evening, we cannot accept these mass killings as the norm. Something has to change and it requires all of us working toward this common goal. Rosey - I agree with you to an extent, but I believe God IS in our schools whether they acknowledge Him or not. He is everywhere, and no mere man can change that. They can only choose not to obey Him. Alot of people are saying that if God was 'allowed' in the schools, these things wouldn't happen. But I don't agree with that, because 5 years ago another young man went on a shooting spree at two churches within 12 hours, killing four or five people. Now, we know that God is 'allowed' in churches (at least most of them) but that didn't stop worshipers from dying. Do you see my point? I certainly agree that this country needs to turn back to God, but it will take an act of God Himself for that to happen, because of the free will He gave us. Some people seem to enjoy using their free will to do evil, bad things to others.

We need God back in all of our schools. Start each day with prayer like we use to. I realize there are now many different religions but America was founded on the one true God. We all need to turn back to him!

If your goal is to save lives, you'll have no problem joining me in calling for a total outlaw of all private vehicle ownership. Think of hom many lives could be saved. According to wikipedia, over 32,000 last year alone. Now I had a hard time looking firearm deaths for 2011, but best I can tell is around 30,000 people. That includes suicides, which seem to account for about half of all gun deaths and are much more prevalent with guns than with cars. So taking away all the guns won't save too many people from suicide. They'll just find another means. As an interesting side note, doctors/hospitals/pharmacists cause over 200,000 accidental deaths per year. So lets ban healthcare first, then cars, then I'll jump on the ban gun bandwagon. Who's with me?
