Firefighters work to battle a house fire in Milford Township on Monday morning and officials aren't sure whether anyone was inside the home.
The fire broke out at a home on Oxford-Middletown Road around 8:30 this morning. When crews arrived the house was fully engulfed. It is now burned to the ground.
The fire department was just out at this same house three days ago for a small grass fire. No one was home then-they hope no one was in the house this time but they haven't had a chance to search through the rubble.
This morning's heavy rains caused a problem for fire trucks trying to get near the house. In fact, the truck closest to the house is stuck in the mud.
The fire chief estimates the home is worth close to half a million dollars. A state fire marshal is on his way to the scene to investigate the cause.
