Crews are busy putting out a fire in Lockland.
Flames broke out around 4:30 Thursday morning in the 600 block of Shepherd Drive off of Anthony Wayne near a company callled IAO Recycling.
Crews from Lockland, Woodlawn, Wyoming, Evendale and Lincoln Heights fire departments are currently on the scene.
The Lockland fire chief says crews will remain on the scene most of the day. They are concerned bundles of newspapers for recycling could rekindle.
The flames came within six feet of a building on the property, but crews were able to contain the flames before they spread in that direction.
Right now they are making news crews stay back away from the plant.
