NORTH AVONDALE - Emergency crews said a fire in North Avondale started in the kitchen of an apartment unit.
It happened around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday at Clinton Springs Avenue off of Reading Road.
A woman awoke to smoke detectors going off and was able to get out safely.
Everyone in the 10-unit building was able to get out.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
